Installing on Mac

The first open takes 10 seconds.

The app is delivered straight from here, outside the App Store. So the first time only, macOS asks for a quick confirmation — after that it opens like any other app.

Download and drag
Open the .dmg and drag Link My Droid into your Applications folder.

Open it the first time
Try to open the app. If macOS warns you, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click “Open Anyway”. On older versions: right-click the app → Open.

Done
The app opens and is cleared for good. Pair with your Android and start sending.
macOS says the app is “damaged”?

It isn't — that's just the quarantine flag your browser adds to every downloaded file. Open Terminal, paste the command below and hit Enter. Then open the app normally.

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Link\ My\ Droid.app
